SES 2015 in London – Things to Learn
The Search Engine Strategies London (SES) 2015 comprised more than 30 exciting sessions on a wide variety of topics ranging from revamping your PPC campaigns to dealing with mobile SEO. This year’s SES took place at Victoria Park Plaza on 10 and 11 February.
Let’s have a look at the five sessions at SES 2015
1. Revamping and rebooting PPC campaigns
PHD and Travel Republic discussed the best ways to re-architect inherited campaigns to maximize effectiveness. There was also a discussion on how to optimize all existing pay-per-click adverts as well as how to designs appealing campaigns along with testing, executing, and measuring the same.
2. Mobile SEO
Home Serve Alliance’s SEO manager Shelley Appiah revealed local SEO and common mistakes marketers make. She also discussed how to blend social and SEO strategies for mobile, and leverage mobile SEO.
3. Developing a winning digital marketing strategy
Big data and programmatic advertising opportunities were discussed by Ross Webster, managing director, EMEA, The Weather Company International.
4. Efficient social and content strategy
Havas Media and House of Fraser revealed the ways of successfully conducting SEO/social content gap analysis via PPC conversion data, advanced reporting/insights through Webmaster Tools/AdWords, and more.
5. Bringing together mobile with paid, owned, and earned strategies
Ant Robinson, the former head of search and social at Auto Trader, discussed how his company created organic content and optimized the landing pages whilst increasing the authority of content via social media. And Adrian Cutler, head of digital, Globalclick/Roxy Palace shared tips on creating a POE mobile checklist for incorporating strategy.
